Seattle-based artist Barbara Osborne transforms humble pine needles into breathtaking sculptural forms that blur the line between craft and fine art. Her works are more than baskets—they are intricate explorations of shape, light, and story. Incorporating natural elements such as fossils, abalone, and agate, Osborne creates pieces that honor the deep time of stone and the living growth of trees. Each work is both engineering and art, weaving together organic materials, imagined forms, and unexpected influences from the world around her.

This exhibition invites viewers to ask “What if…?”—to see how something as simple as a pine needle can carry millions of years of history, possibility, and wonder.
